1. General

1.1. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the ECU tuning file services provided by Hantstuning.co.uk (“we”, “our”, “us”).

1.2. By registering an account, purchasing credits, or submitting a file request, you (“the customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1.3. Our services are strictly for professional use. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

2. Credits & Payments

• 2.1. File services are provided on a credit-based system.
• 2.2. 1 credit = £[insert value] (subject to change).
• 2.3. Credits must be purchased in advance and added to your account before any file can be uploaded.
• 2.4. All payments for credits are non-refundable.
• 2.5. Credits cannot be transferred between accounts

3. File Uploads & Processing

• 3.1. Customers are responsible for uploading the correct original ECU file and selecting the required tuning solution (Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, DPF OFF, EGR OFF, etc.).
• 3.2. Once a file is uploaded and processed by an engineer, the required credits will be deducted automatically.
• 3.3. If an incorrect file is uploaded, credits will still be charged if the file has been processed.
• 3.4. Multiple requests for the same file will be charged separately.
• 3.5. Processing times may vary depending on workload, file type, and requested modifications.

4. Warranty & Revisions

• 4.1. Each tuned file comes with a 7-day warranty period starting from the date of delivery.
• 4.2. Within this period, revisions and minor adjustments are free of charge (for example: fine-tuning boost or torque limits).
• 4.3. If the customer’s file requires additional solutions outside the warranty window, a new file request (1 credit or more depending on service) will be required.
• 4.4. Files older than 7 days that require modification are subject to a charge of 1 additional credit.
• 4.5. If the customer’s ECU has been reset by a dealer update or replaced, a new file request must be submitted (new credits required).

5. Refund Policy

• 5.1. Due to the digital nature of the service, all sales are final.
• 5.2. Credits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• 5.3. If a file cannot be provided or is faulty and cannot be resolved, credits may be refunded back to the customer’s account balance (at our discretion).

6. Liability

• 6.1. All tuning files are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
• 6.2. Hantstuning.co.uk is not liable for any damages, costs, or losses resulting from the use of our files, including but not limited to:
  • Engine or ECU damage
  • Emissions compliance issues
  • Warranty voidance
  • Vehicle safety issues
• 6.3. Customers are fully responsible for checking local laws and ensuring that files are used only for motorsport, off-road, or closed-course applications where road legality is not required.

7. Customer Responsibilities

• 7.1. Customers must ensure they use the correct tools and procedures when reading/writing ECU files.
• 7.2. Customers must back up original ECU data before tuning.
• 7.3. Customers must inform their end-clients of the potential risks of ECU tuning.
• 7.4. Hantstuning.co.uk reserves the right to refuse service if files appear suspicious, corrupted, or unrelated to ECU tuning.

8. Account & Access

• 8.1. Each account is individual and must not be shared with third parties.
• 8.2. Any abuse, fraudulent activity, or chargebacks may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
• 8.3. Customers are responsible for keeping their login credentials secure.

9. Changes to Terms

• 9.1. Hantstuning.co.uk reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
• 9.2. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
